The First City Pickleball Classic is set to take place this weekend in Vincennes. The classic runs Friday thru Sunday at Gregg Park in Vincennes. Regina Blinn with the Vincennes Pickleball Club joined Rise and Shine Vincennes on Monday. She explains the game of Pickleball for those who may not know.
There are multiple age and skill divisions in the classic. It is free to attend. Blinn mentioned that there were over 180 players from over 5 states participating in the classic. Those playing have paid a registration fee. The funds from the registration fee as well as the money raised in the silent auction also taking place this weekend will help with the resurfacing of the Pickleball Courts at Gregg Park in the near future.
