Even though the fair may be over, the Knox County Fair Demo Derby that was set for this past Saturday has a new date.
According to the Knox County Fair Facebook Page, the new date of the demo derby is Saturday, August 2nd at the Knox County Fairgrounds. The derby will begin at 7 PM. Entry into the grandstand is free for children under the age of 5. Children 6-12 will pay $5, those 13 and older will pay $10, and pit passes are available for $20.
Registration and inspection for participants will take place from 3-6 PM on the 2nd. Classes for the derby include power wheels, stock, MWFA, and Windshield. The entry fee to participate is $40 with riders being $30.
