Rotary Young Leaders Holding Pool Party At Rainbow Beach to Support KETA
A local group is hosting a pool party tonight at Rainbow Beach as they are trying to raise support for a local group. Rotary Young Leaders of Vincennes is hosting the free swim from 6:30 until 8 this evening. Allie Bobe is with Rotary Young Leaders. Bobe talks about why they host this event.
This has become somewhat of an annual event for us. Having a free swim day at Rainbow Beach is always kind of fun for us to invite our families and friends. We’re super excited to partner with KETA this year, which is our first time doing so. We think it’s a great organization. We were just talking the other day, they cover all of Knox County and they service over 400 kids. I think it’s going to be a really great organization to help out and most importantly, a really fun day for everybody to enjoy together.
Rotary Young Leaders are asking for cash donations or school supplies to help out KETA. KETA will have their annual distribution day on Saturday, August 2nd at First Christian Church. Registration for this year’s event is linked here.
